Cell Phones Linked to Depression

By

Cell Phones and Depression

It's easy to see how cell phones can depress you especially if the news you're getting is bad. Studies from Wayne State University in Detroit shows that cell phone radiation is linked to insomnia, headaches, and depression.

You may be suffering from cell phone over-exposure.

According to a report in the British newspaper The Independent, sweeping new research has linked the radiation emitted by mobile phones to such symptoms as confusion, sleeping problems and chronic headaches.

Scientists studying 35 men and 35 women found that using the phones before bed delays and shortens the deep stages of sleep—the part of sleep that allows the brain and body to repair and rejuvenate from the day's wear and tear.

In children and teens, who tend to use their phones late at night, the study found that the sleep disturbances caused by the radiation can trigger depression, mood swings, ADHD-like symptoms, personality changes, impair concentration and academic performance.

It seems that the radiation from mobile phones can make it difficult to both fall and stay asleep. The radiation can delay and shorten the deep stages of sleep, important since this is when your brain and body repair and rejuvenate, making exposure linked to headaches, difficulty in concentrating, depression, and personality changes.

Use a Headset

Even with the vast array of headsets available, people still put cell phones up to their ear. The connection between sleep and depression is more of a deprivation problem than a chemical imbalance. This doesn't mean that this continuous habit can't lead to more severe problems which are compounded by the ignorance of the cause.

Over time, lack of sleep can cause chemical imbalances that are root causes of depression. From there depression can turn into other illnesses, both mental and physical. Some of the signs are:

  • Anxiety
  • Allergies
  • Headaches
  • Obesity
  • Digestive Disorder

Directly or indirectly improper use of cell phones can cause depressive disorders. It will take decades to determine the actual damage cell phones have on our physical and mental health.

In the mean time we need to know, what tests can we take to detect depressive problems?

Tests for Depression

It's a complex chain of events that can cause depression. As mentioned before an innocent device such as a cell phone can sleep disorders, interruptions, and TBD radio wave damage.

The more obvious things that cause depression are: Toxins, chemicals, pesticides, emotions, these are things we know exist now.

Your doctor can order a battery of tests to determine toxicity levels and allergic substances causing illness. Finding out the underlying cause will be the start to finding a cure. The interchange of physical and mental health is evident, this can be a big factor in improving depressive situations.

The medical system has cornered the market on treatment. The major solution they offer are pills, drugs. This is not the best solution for long term help, there are natural alternatives that you must look at. Of course, your doctor needs to be told what your planning to change diet wise. There are times that natural substances conflict with your present prescriptions.

Just as an example sweating is natures way of removing toxins, but if your system is really congested at a cellular level this might require a different approach. If you go to the health hub you will find other options to handle depression.

Depression is a a horrible disease that consumes your life. The first step is finding those things that trigger depression. Change things one at a time, it's to hard to change everything all at once. Look at alternatives that don't involve drugs.

Visit the above link to find more of these options, you Can get back your life.

Look for a brain tumor epidemic as kids and teenagers who have them glued to their ears get older.

The medical system and drug companies won't complain to much..

I, as an electronics and communication engineer don't believe in this. Science still has to proof this.

I do believe the lawyers will make the connection one day and as humans often do they become addicted. This in itself can cause depression. I appreciate your comment as always.
